# Collaborators

Yeti-Apes is a decentralized community including developers, marketing professionals, designers, financial advisors, project coordinators and more. All initiatives are proposed and voted on by [Yoints ](https://yeti-apes.gitbook.io/yeti-apes-whitepaper/tokens-and-contracts/yoints)stakers. Collaborators work together to externally support the ecosystem and implement these initiatives. These collaborators do not control the dual-token model and only advise, and where possible, provide support to the growth of the Yeti-Apes ecosystem, which has it's own decentralized governance through the Yoints staking mechanism.
