A fair-launch presale has been approved to be conducted by the governance system. This is an exclusive opportunity for users to become part of the governance of Yeti-Apes at its inception.

A proposal was raised to the community to launch the Yoints and Yapes tokens through a presale. The community voted to proceed with this strategy, which will start the initial full governance of the Yeti-Apes ecosystem.

What is the Yeti-Apes fair launch?

The purpose of a fair launch is to conduct a fund raise, giving the general crypto community the opportunity to purchase tokens and become part of the Yeti-Apes governance system prior to the official launch of the tokens. Participants should be aware that profit from this presale should not be expected and the primary purpose is to distribute the Yapes token, begin governance for the ecosystem and establish funding for both marketing and software development. For Yeti-Apes, it is planned to use a launchpad on Metis, giving newcomers an opportunity to get involved very early into the ecosystem's growth.

Yeti-Apes has multiple planned decentralized products to be released, all of which are going to utilize the dual-token governance and utility strategy. Significant growth in the ecosystem through regular community proposals and approvals is expected with initial ideas being formulated by collaborators.

What is the planned currency for raise and the raise targets?

As the Yeti-Apes ecosystem is launching on the Metis chain, easy participation is desired and as the Metis token is the most widely used on its chain, this is the currently preferred choice.

The below summarizes the currently decided maximum targets, prices and fully diluted values (FDVs) for the presale in USD (subject to change with market conditions). Of note, it is important to stress that it is planned to be a limited presale to allow for organic growth in line with the development of products and the community. The tokens are decentralized, and there are no guarantees as to the future price of the tokens, being fully determined by the market.

Each participant will get Yapes, and will be able to stake these tokens immediately to increasing voting rights after launch. Receiving Yapes ensures close alignment to the Yeti-Apes strategy for community participation. It is important to note that regardless of the amount raised, the project roadmap and product development will continue to move forward as Yeti-Apes strongly believes in being mission-driven.

Dates for the presale are still to be determined, so please join our community and socials for all of the latest information. Our current estimate is for early Q3, but we are aware that we must remain flexible to adapt to any potential issues.

The presale will be supported by the key collaborators with all details voted on and decided by the community through the governance system. Funds raised will be used to establish the initial liquidity pools and fund future development and ecosystem growth opportunities as decided by the Yeti-Apes governance system.
