Roadmap

The roadmap is a flexible and living representation of what the Yeti-Apes community decides to achieve in the near future.

The below shows the currently planned Yeti-Apes ecosystem roadmap. Although split into separate sections, there will be overlap of the delivery of items within phases, and timelines for delivery will be internally set and determinant on project governance and changing priorities over time.

Phase 1: Initiation

In this phase, the aim is to launch the dual-token model, implement the decentralized governance system through the staking pools and introducing our first ecosystem dApp, Capella. The following tasks are planned:

• Launch the marketing and community growth campaign. Yeti-Apes has a planned and targeted marketing strategy to rapidly grow awareness of it's ecosystem, working with multiple industry contacts in the Metis ecosystem.

• Presale and launch of the Yoints and Yapes tokens. Presale spots will be extremely limited, giving early participants a chance to become part of the governance system of the Yeti-Apes ecosystem.

• Yoints and Yapes liquidity pools initialized and tokens airdropped to presale participants. The presale is a unique offering, as participants don't only get one token, but two tokens, one that can be used for a right to governance.

• Yoints and Yapes staking pools deployed. The Yoints staking pool and the Yapes staking pools allows users to earn pathways to decentralized ownership and tokens that can be used across the Yeti-Apes ecosystem. These staking pools will have an initial supply of tokens allocated to assist in the initialization of governance.

• Launch the first ecosystem dApp, Capella, which will serve as the central platform for NFT trading, creation, and community engagement. Capella will enable revenue sharing and play a crucial role in implementing decentralized governance, providing users with a direct avenue to participate in the Yeti-Apes ecosystem.

Phase 2: Growth

Utility and value are key components to the Yeti-Apes ecosystem and this phase is about releasing needed platforms and products for the web3 space on the Metis chain. The following tasks are planned:

• Host grant developer campaigns to attract the developers interested in doing open-source contributions to the Yeti-Apes ecosystem. This will enhance the ability for governance initiatives to be delivered.

• Development and release of an NFT marketplace on Metis L2 and incorporation of dual-token model. As the Metis chain continues to develop, there is much need for a platform that users can list and trade NFTs. Yeti-Apes already has an offering for NFT collection data to assist with trading called Capella, and the next step will be evolving this offering to a full NFT marketplace and integration with Metis L2.

• Development and launch of decentralized web3 games. Web3 gaming is one of the fastest growing areas of the crypto market with a massive user base. The specifics of dApp development will be fully determined by the community, and advisors will provide initial suggestions of what direction is best to try to pursue first.

• Our community is at the heart of everything that we do, and it is community governance that will propose and decide on all additional products.

Phase 3: Expansion

It is the intention to scale the Yeti-Apes ecosystem exponentially over time, growing the community size and through governance proposals and approvals, further release products over time. This phase focuses on expanding the reach of the Yeti-Apes offerings, with the following tasks planned:

• Set up a Yeti-Apes Sequencer Node on Metis to help support the deepening of underlying liquidity of the Metis chain.

• Development of a One-Click LST Product: Launch a one-click Liquid Staking Token (LST) product, simplifying the staking process and contributing to the growth of the Metis ecosystem.

• Scale the ecosystem through a new set of product launches; At this point, the builder community should be strong enough to provide grants in exchange for covering specific Metis L2 needs that would attract new users to the ecosystem. At the same time, the community will look to expand its marketing exposure to mainstream media, but maintain a vision that ensures community governance remains at the core of important decision-making.

• Leverage CCIP Integration for Multi-Chain Liquidity: Integrate Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) to create multi-chain liquidity for the dual-token model, ensuring the tokens can operate across various blockchains.

• Expand the Yeti-Apes dual-token model and products multichain. Yeti-Apes has the end goal of bettering the world through providing much-needed crypto value-cases and education across Web3. The intention is to bring the dual-token model and product-line to the entire world.

Phase 4: Sustainability

As vibrant and dynamic as the crypto market is, it also moves very quickly with offerings and opportunities changing almost daily. Sustainability planning is absolutely key to ensure that Yeti-Apes can continue indefinitely and provide generational benefits back to dual-token holders. The following tasks are planned:

• Full review and upgrade of community governance to ensure the ecosystem continues to grow over time and development continues no matter what.

• Ensure product releases remain meaningful and competitive. The governance system is critical for this, as Yoints holders and stakers are the governance of Yeti-Apes, submitting proposals and approvals.

• The most critical item to continue focusing on for sustainability are the two tokens, Yoints and Yapes, which are at the heart of governance across the Yeti-Apes ecosystem. It is important to ensure that the community continue to participate in the ecosystem and products over the long-term. All project decisions will involve the governance put in place by the tokens and staking pools.
